Who we are

This site is operated by Tom Passmore, trading as TPassmoreMedia, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy questions or requests, contact tom@tpassmoremedia.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

  • Contact enquiries. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, project details and any other information you choose to share.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) generated by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
  • Account data (admin only). If you sign in to manage the site, we store your email and an authentication session for that purpose.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or behavioural tracking.

Lawful basis & how we use your data

  • To respond to enquiries – legitimate interests and, where relevant, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
  • To operate and secure the site – legitimate interests in maintaining a working, secure service.
  • To authenticate admin users – necessary for performance of the contract with the site owner.

Cookies & local storage

We only use storage that is strictly necessary to make the site work — for example, keeping an admin user signed in. No tracking, advertising or analytics cookies are set. Because of this, no consent banner is required under PECR / UK GDPR for the storage we use.

Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted processors that act on our instructions:

  • Hosting and backend infrastructure (EU/UK or equivalent safeguards).
  • Email providers used to receive your messages.

Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, typically up to 24 months, then deleted unless an ongoing project requires otherwise. Server logs are rotated by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email tom@tpassmoremedia.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
